There are many benefits to maintaining neutral through my functional movement method. You may have heard, “stay in neutral” several times. It is one of the most important practices when it comes to your form and technique. Staying in neutral can allow you to move safely and correctly, improving your posture at the same time.
Whether you are laying down or standing up, a neutral spine aligns your joints and lessens the load on your body while making it easier for you to focus on isolating the right muscles. A neutral spine improves your balance and helps you to prevent injury so you can get through your everyday activities more efficiently.
